It's great to see Freeway stay on his grind while continuing to put out new records and stay in touch with his still growing fanbase. Our local Philly lyric spitter has been putting it down since 2000 on his first appearance on Jay-Z's Dynasty album on "1-900-Hustla". He's put out a few solo albums since then and even put out a great album this year with Jake One called Stimulus Package. He's currently working on his next album Diamond in the Rough and has released one of the singles and video's called "Escalators" produced by Jake One. I'm really enjoying both the song and video and definitely looking forward to the ablum. He's got a sound all of his own and to stay relevant in the hip hop arena for this long takes hard work and of course talent. His lyrics are super original and has a flow all his own.
